Tourismus in Fuengirola – Malaga, Spanien

The tourist area of Fuengirola is surprisingly underdeveloped in the surrounding area of the river Fuengirola, where we also find the castle ‚Sohail‘. The tourism of sun, beach and golf so traditional in the ‚Costa del Sol‘ seems exhausted, so this could be a perfect opportunity to change a bit its direction to more sustainable ways of living. The edges of the river a transform into crops that will partly raised by the new tourists. Traditional mediterranean fruits and vegetables would be available for visitors and inhabitants.

Houses for renting, squares, natural pathways among crops,… all these makes a big urban park out of the crops area. The houses have two stories, on the ground floor we find the living room and a small kitchen, and upstairs the bedroom and bathroom.

There is also a sustainable electric tram, that goes across the whole river edge, from the north to the south of Fuengirola, making it much easier for those people living in the mountain to reach the beach. It would help with the problem of the parking lots too, as fewer cars would be used.
